Untitled Roots Ensemble plays contemporary improvisational music inspired by traditional music from around the world, with new open-ended works by ensemble members.

Leaning into natural patterns and gut instincts within a framework of original contemporary works, the ensemble seeks to grow from its participants’ unique roots into our modern day world with new compositions based on unusual notation, audience participation and energetic, risk-taking sound.
